Hello, hello. My name is Jasmine, and I am a fashion graduate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I grew up in Malaysia, attended boarding school in Australia, lived for a year in Virginia, and survived the Midwest for the bulk of my college years. And now? I live in and love New York City, where I intern for Thakoon and work as an assistant.
I enjoy good food, beautiful things, and travel. I have no qualms eating rice for breakfast, and I can effortlessly go through several teapots of green tea in a day. I almost exclusively wear dresses. It has to be said: Anthropologie is a lifestyle and not merely a store.
I will never say no to the following: salmon sashimi, macarons, and impromptu trips out of town (or country!). My favourite book is the History of Love by Nicole Krauss, and I am not ashamed to say that I have read it no less than 5 times. Give me a dress form, yards upon yards of silk, straight pins, pinking shears and an iPod and I will be blissfully occupied for hours. I am also on the never-ending quest for the best mascara in the world. I shall find it someday.
More Charm Than Good exists as a visual chronicle of life as I see it. Thank you for visiting, so very charmed to meet you!
